Music is a World Within Itself

This lesson can be used by educators or parents/caretakers to challenge young people to express gratitude for people in their lives and to explore how music of today is built on music of the past.

This lesson explores the rules and limitations society puts on bodies based on race, particularly the Black body. This will engage students to think about the Black body as it relates to their own body.
